Suntrust spent lots of money promoting a reward of $10 for making 3 bill payments online by a certain date. By the time I made 6 payments and still no $10, I contacted them to find out why. The first response was totally canned, simply repeating the marketing message of 3 payments=$10 reward.
When I replied and said, please actually LOOK at my account because I’ve made 6 payments, I finally get the gotcha: you’ll get your $10 FOURTEEN WEEKS FROM NOW!
Wow. Seriously? 14 weeks before you cough up the $10?
